IAP Vs Amadeus Super Cricketers (20 over Match)
Nawaz Khan 4 wickets helped his side in defending 150 against Amadeus Super Cricketers at Naya Nazimabad.
IAP batted first and were off to a dismal start as they lost two quick wickets quite early in the match. Then Umer Ishtiaq and Ahmed Nawaz got together and took their team out of the early mess. They both took control of the match and dictated terms to the bowlers. Nawaz was the main contributor during the partnership as he scored a brilliant 63 of just 50 balls with 3 big sixes. He was supported by Umer Ishtiaq who scored a fine 34 of just 24. Their effort put their team on track and were able to post a good 150 for the loss of 8 wickets.
Amadeus Super Cricketers were off to a dismal start in their second innings as they lost wicket of the very first ball. This pushed them on the back foot but Ali Naqvi and Ibad Anis then got together and did not allow the bowlers to take charge of the innings as both batted for a while and were looking good until Ibad Anis was dismissed for 19 by Ahmed. Ali Naqvi then was joined by Waqas and they batted positively too both smashed one six during their stay. The partnership was looking threatening for IAP until Nawaz Khan dismissed Ali Naqvi which triggered the collapse for Amadeus Super Cricketers and they never really recovered from it. Nawaz Khan was the pick of the bowler as he picked up 4 wickets for just 23. In the end IAP won easily by 14 runs.
