NBPians batted first against Jubilee Life insurance at the all important final of the Forhan's 21st Challengers Corporate Cup. The team took charge with opener Raheel Hussain contributing 28 and one down Ahsan Khan stealing the show. Ahsan knocked an impressive 76 off 40 including 5 fours and 4 sixes and remained not out to help his side post a very competitive total of 181 for 2 in 20 overs. Jubilee bowlers were weak against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when needed and simply could not get the breakthroughs. Khaliq Uz Zaman also chipped in with a blistering 28 off 14 lower down the order.
In response, Jubilee Life lost opener Hafeez for duck but seemed to put together a few decent innngs to recover after that. Zohaib Rizwan was fantastic in his innings of 73 off 36 which included 4 fours and 5 sixes. The one down batsmen threatened to take the game away but unfortunately could not find a partner in his side that could build on the innings. With the exception of Ibad Anis's 23 at the top the rest of the side threw away their wickets as Jubilee ended at 158 for 8 in 20 overs. NBPians bowlers did well to pick consistently and limit the opposition. Zeeshan Siddique was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets.
NBPians won the Forhan's 21st Challengers Corporate Cup by 23 runs.
