Benitoz Panthers batted first against OGS in yet another exciting match of Legends Cup. Opener Tabish Raza provided a solid start to his team scoring 39 off 26. One down Hamza Qadir boosted his team and scored a fabulous fifty. He smashed 64 off 45. Saad Ahmed and Ahmed Arshad also played their part in setting a big total on the scoreboard scoring 36 and 22 runs respectively. Panthers decorated the scoreboard with a fancy total of 188 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The bowling unit of OGS did not performed up to the mark as it leaked too much runs. Adnan Siddiqui was the leading wicket taker picking up 2 wickets.
OGS, in reply, had set an amazing show of team. Openers Fayyaz and Irteza scored 22 and 14 runs respectively and were followed by Imran and Adnan who further strengthened the foundation of their victory and made 37 and 33 runs respectively. But the man of the day was Noman Subhan who finished the gane and scored a fifty. He played a resplendent innings of 69 off 33 leaving no chance for the opposition and making his team chase such a big total with even an over to spare. The bowlers of Panthers performed terrible and they easily let the match slip out of their hands. Daniyal, Imran and Faisal from Panthers picked up 1 wicket each.
OGS won by 6 wickets.
