Gulshan Stars batted first and after losing an early wicket they stabilized things on the back of Murtaza and Muhammad Umair’s partnership. They partnership got off to a slow start, but they were trying to bring their side back on track. Muhammad Umair scored 19 of 25 whereas Murtaza was the aggressor during the partnership and he scored 24 of 16 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. After them, Faisal and Fahad propelled the score forward and scored 12 and 21 respectively and Muhammad Mohsin ended the innings on a bright note for Gulshan Star with his quick 24 of 15 balls effort. The bowling was good for most part of the innings, Noman Ibrahim was the pick of the bowler as he dismissed 3 batsmen whereas Ghuffran picked up 2. Gulshan Star in the end, managed to score 138.

The score was a modest one, and Omer 11 were confident enough to chase it down when they came out to bat. Both openers, got their side off to a bright start as they scored 13 each. The start was good and the middle order took advantage of it. Asim Ahmed was in scintillating form and he made bowlers work hard for his wicket. He played a very crucial innings in the middle and scored 53 of just 45 balls with 7 fours and 1 six, he was supported by Zia. Zia also played an aggressive knock of 28 from 19 with 1 six and this partnership put Omer 11 on top. After their dismissal, the innings crumbled as rest of the batsmen got out for single digit scores but even after that Omer 11 due to good contributions at the top managed to go past Gulshan Star’s total in 18.2 overs.
