Roomi Royals came in to bat first. Their openers gave them a solid start having a partnership of 50+ runs. Fahad Jabbar did the bulk of the hitting as he played a sublime knock of 59 runs. Noyam Nasir played second fiddle to him scoring 37 runs. The rest of the batting lineup failed to score big as bowlers kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Ammar Pasta did some damage at the back end of the innings. He played a cameo of 23 runs off just 10 deliveries. Shaz Shajani & Idrees Amin picked up 2 wickets restricting the batting side to 148 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Falaknaz Hawks came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start as they lost 2 wickets inside the powerplay but this didn’t bother them much as Owais Rehmani was hitting the ball cleanly from the other end. He was joined by Shaz Shajani & the duo took the bowlers to the cleaners. The duo had a massive partnership of 100+ runs completely running away with the game. Owais Rehmani showed an absolute batting masterclass scoring 79 runs off juts 51 deliveries & found good support from Shaz Shajani as he scored 40 runs. The duo stood there till the very end taking their team over the line. Talha Shabir & Ammar Riaz were the only bowlers who were able to pickup a wicket.
