P.E.C.H.S Strikers chase down 76 runs to beat City Warriors in 8 over fixture of Ramzan League.
P.E.C.H.S Strikers were on top of their game in this fixture against City Warriors. City Warriors batted first and were off to a terrible start, Saifullah had to make a long walk back to pavilion as he was dismissed for a golden duck. Faisal was then joined by Adnan and they had to rebuilt the innings and at the same time had to play at a fast pace. Adnan though was struggling to find the middle of the bat but Faisal on the other hand was smashing the bowlers all around the park. The partnership was broken when Yasir bold Adnan for 11. Noman then came in and smashed a few he scored 17 of 9 whereas Faisal also remained not out for his well made 44 of 24.
In their second innings P.E.C.H.S Strikers wanted 76 runs in their 8 overs and the pressure of chasing was quite clear on them as they lost both their openers without much contributions from them. Maani and Waqas then got together and they were under immense pressure as they had to much to do but they played brilliantly under pressure. City Warriors even after a prefect start were not able to keep the pressure on. They gave away 19 extras which proved vital in the end. Maani and Waqas also took complete advantage and scored 28 each to take their side to victory. They chased down 76 in 7.3 overs at the expense of just 2 wickets.
