Pak Qatar Takaful came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Syed Asher Ali & Qadir Ishaq put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. The duo scored at a healthy rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Qadir Ishaq retired hurt after scoring 29 runs off 36 deliveries. Iftikhar Ali came in & he scored 17 runs off 11 deliveries. Syed Asher Ali joined him soon after playing a sublime knock of 65 runs off 51 deliveries. Hafeez Bin Ijaz came in towards the back end of the innings & scored a brisk 22 off 14. Dawar Khan, Talha Arshad & Ali Raza managed to pickup a wicket each. Pak Qatar Takaful posted a total of 151 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Askari Life Assurance came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Muhammad Furqan & Mirza Burhan Baig put up a fiery partnership of 50+ runs. Muhammad Furqan played the role of the aggressor as he kept on scoring boundaries at ease. He departed after playing a fiery innings of 52 runs off 39 deliveries. Mirza Burhan Baig joined him soon after scoring 32 runs off 34 deliveries. Ammar Anwar came in & he played with the same momentum but the bowlers made their way back into the match. The bowlers started picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Wickets kept on tumbling from the other end as batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Ammar Anwar scored 24 runs off 17 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him to achieve alone. Hafeez Bin Ijaz was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets.
