Pak Qatar Takaful came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Syed Asher Ali scored 25 runs off 16 deliveries where as Umair Karim scored 18 off 20. Iftikhar Ali chipped in with his 10 off 9. Qadir Ishaq & Abid Qadri then put up a decent partnership putting their team in a comfortable position. Both the batsmen scored at a decent rate scoring boundaries at regular intervals. Qadir Ishaq departed after scoring 21 runs off 25 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Abid Qadri played a sublime knock of 63 runs off 39 deliveries taking his team to a fighting total. Abdul Moid & Muhammad Taha managed to pickup a couple of wickets each. Pak Qatar Takaful posted a total of 162 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.

The bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Ahmed Siddiqui was the only batsman who showed some sort of a fight back as he scored run a ball 22 runs. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Sohaib Zaman, Syed Asher Ali, Muhammad Usman & Farhan Zaib tore apart the batting lineup picking up a couple of wickets each. Adamjee Life Assurance were bowled out for 107 runs in 18.5 overs.
