Pak Qatar Takaful victorious over Adamjee General Insurance

Pak Qatar Takaful batted first.  Their opening batsmen, Syed Asher Ali and Umair Karim, got off to a flying start. Syed Asher Ali played a brilliant knock, scoring 51 runs off just 38 deliveries, while Umair Karim contributed a quickfire 39 off 24 balls. However, apart from the openers, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to make a significant impact. Iftikhar Ali was the only other batsman who managed to reach double figures scoring 12 off 15. Tariq was the standout bowler for Adamjee General Insurance, picking up three crucial wickets, while Shayan Rasheed claimed two wickets. Despite their efforts, Pak Qatar Takaful were eventually bowled out for 164 runs in 19.2 overs.

Chasing a target of 165 runs, Adamjee General Insurance had a shaky start as they lost a few early wickets. However, opener Usman Siddiqui held firm and played a responsible innings. He remained unbeaten on 51 runs off 53 deliveries, anchoring the innings for his team. Shayan Rasheed also contributed with the bat, scoring 28 runs off 33 balls, while Abdul Rehman made a quickfire 14 off 11 deliveries towards the end. The bowlers from Pak Qatar Takaful put up a commendable effort, with Sadiq Shah, Abid Qadri, Iftikhar Ali, and Sohaib Zaman each picking up a wicket. The bowlers managed to restrict their opponents and take wickets at crucial junctures, ultimately securing the victory for their team.
