However, it was Humayun Hanif who stole the show with a blazing innings. Hanif’s knock of 73 runs came off just 33 balls, displaying his aggressive batting style and powerful stroke play. Ahmed Imam also made a significant contribution, scoring 51 runs off 33 deliveries, showcasing his ability to find the boundaries at regular intervals. Muhammad Atif Beg played a late cameo, scoring 21 runs off 18 balls, adding crucial runs to the total. Unfortunately, the rest of the batsmen couldn’t contribute much to the scoreboard. Muhammad Umair, Syed Shaheer, and Adeel Mujahid were the pick of the bowlers for GS Corrugation & Packaging, as they each picked up two wickets, ensuring the opposition’s total was kept in check. Pakistan Lawyers Cricket Association finished their innings with a total of 203/7.
In response, GS Corrugation & Packaging began their chase with a steady opening partnership. Syed Shaheer scored 24 runs off 22 balls, while Muhammad Faraz contributed 17 runs off 12 deliveries. Jaleed added a useful 21 runs off 16 balls to keep the scoreboard ticking. However, the rest of the GS Corrugation & Packaging batting lineup struggled to cope with the pressure. They lost wickets at regular intervals and failed to build substantial partnerships.
