The Karachi Panthers beat Master Blaster Cricket Club in the Fit 5 Leage on 17-10-2015 at the Bahria Ground by 57 runs.
Batting first, the Panthers posted a monumental 213 on the board at the loss of 6 wickets. Saad and Hasan Mehmood put up a fantastic partnership scoring 57 and 42 respectively. They set up the perfect platform for Ajmal Afzal to launch who cleared the boundary on all sides of the ground to score 51 of just 18 balls. His brilliant hitting propelled the Panthers to 213 at the loss of 6 wickets.
Master Blasters got off to a terrible chase losing both openers early on. A middle order partnership between Asad Mehmood and Idrees stabalized the innings somewhat as they both got 31 and 51 respectively. However, the target was far beyond their reach and the Master Blaster line up was bowled out for 156.
