SQ CC came in to bat first & Jahanzaib Sultan and Ammar Iqbal, got off to a strong start, with Sultan scoring a quickfire 28 off just 17 deliveries. Iqbal carried on the momentum and played a brilliant innings, scoring 59 runs off 40 balls. Irteza Khan also contributed significantly with a blistering knock of 41 off just 20 deliveries. However, the rest of the SQ CC batsmen struggled to make a significant impact, and the team finished their innings at 174 for 8. Naimat Khan Afridi was the standout bowler for Arham Enterprises, taking three important wickets to disrupt SQ CC’s batting lineup. Fareed Shah Arbab also made a valuable contribution with two wickets to his name.
Chasing a target of 175, Arham Enterprises came out with a positive intent. Their opening pair, Ali Raza and Pervaiz Ali, provided a solid start. Raza scored 24 runs off 15 deliveries before being dismissed. However, it was Pervaiz Ali who stole the show with an exceptional unbeaten century. He displayed remarkable stroke-making abilities and smashed the SQ CC bowlers to all parts of the ground. He scored a scintillating 115 runs off just 56 balls, ensuring victory for his team. Zakir Malik played a supporting role, contributing 15 runs off 13 balls.
