Prime HR defeated Malik Sports in a friendly match held on Saturday.
Batting first, Malik Sports were off to a good start as their openers Usama Ifitkhar and Rayyan Qamar made 34 and 21 runs respectively. Although they lost some wickets in between, middle order batsman Muhammad Taha scored 56 off 32 balls, partnering with Ali Mir who made 23 runs. Their efforts brought the team to 177 runs. Naveed Laxman and Abid Malik took 2 wickets each.
Prime HR’s openers dominated from the start of the innings. Easar scored 35 off 28 balls while Abid Malik remained not out and scored a brilliant 87 off 52 balls, including 14 boundaries. Mudassir Farooq’s 21 runs and Farhan’s 22 runs brought the team over the line as they chased the target.
Prime HR won by 7 wickets.
