PSO win a low scoring thriller

PSO came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Muhammad Waqas & Bilal Shah then put up some sort of a partnership saving their side from a potential collapse. Muhammad Waqas scored 28 off 21 where as Bilal Shah scored 22 off 27. HaqDad came in & he too played a solid knock of 34 runs off 22 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Faizan Zaman came in towards the back end of the innings & played a blinder of 22 runs off just 8 deliveries. Giving his team some sort of a total to fight with. Abdul Muqeet lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from M Anas Javed, Abdul Moeed & Misbah who picked up a couple of wickets each. PSO were bowled out for 131 runs in 18.5 overs.

Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Rehan Azam & Abbas Naqvi put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. Rehan Azam scored run a ball 27 where as Abbas Naqvi scored 26 runs off 25 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers made their way back into the match. The bowlers started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers dominated through out the innings. Meesum showed some sort of resistance as he scored 21 runs off 20 deliveries. Muhammad Kamran Khan & Ahmed Shah lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets each tearing apart the batting lineup. Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan were bowled out for 115 runs in 19.2 overs.
