Karachi All-Stars batted first against Aag CC in an which turned out to be a one-sided match. All-Stars got off to a dream start as their opener Qasim played a staggering knock of 87 runs with a dazzling strike rate of 185. The little contributions from the rest of the batsmen summed up the score of the batting side to 173 runs. Aag CC bowlers were disciplined, not bowling a single extra but were unable to contain the flow of runs. Jawahir Zaidi and Talha were the leading wicket-takers picking up 2 wickets each.
The bowlers of All-Stars didn’t give a single chance to the opposition and dominated from the beginning. Hamza Ismail’s 4 and Ammar Altaf’s 3 wickets shook the batting side and they got bowled out for 120 runs in 17.5 overs. Mobeen’s 31 and Naimat’s 24 were the highest scores from Aag CC but were not enough to get them saved from the defeat.
Karachi All-Stars won by 55 runs.
