Jadoon CC batted first against QP Star in a match played at Asifabad Ground. Except for Zarak and Waheed who both scored half-centuries, the whole batting line-up flopped badly against Star bowlers. Zarak and Waheed scored 52 and 55 runs but the other batsmen failed to stick at the crease. The team didn’t stand for the 20 overs and it got bowled-out for 155 runs. Afzal from Star was the leading wicket taker claiming 3 wickets while Jaseem, Arshad, and Shamshad picked up 2 wickets each.
Jadoon CC bowlers did some terrible bowling as they gave away 26 runs as extras. Star batsmen didn’t have to do much after that and they easily and swiftly marched towards their target. Opener Wajid Bangash scored 22 runs while Sami and Arshad from the middle order added 32 and 36 runs respectively to the team’s total. Waheed from Jadoon CC got 2 wickets.
