A dominant display by QP Stars with a mammoth victory over Vikings CC.
Batting first, QP Stars lost their top 3 batsmen cheaply and looked to be in trouble until the middle order stepped in to stabilize the side. Muhammad Younus played a key innings of 45 while Sameed and Arshad contributed 34 and 27 to boost their side to a competitive 168. Vikings bowlers did well to take wickets early on but couldn't get the breakthroughs after that, giving away 25 extras in the process. Kamran took 2 wickets for his side.
In response, Vikings CC were bowled out for 99 in 13.3 overs. With the exception of Rameez's 30, none of the other batsmen could provide support or build an innings. Afzal was outstanding in his spell, picking up 3 wickets while Shamshad and Arshad took 2 wickets each.
QP Stars won by 69 runs.
