Aqeel Combined and Quick Start featured in a thrilling contest against one another.
Aqeel Combined batted first and made the most of this opportunity. Their openers looked in prime touch as Burhan Mirza posted an authoritative 54 off 36 deliveries and Ahsan Siddique plastered 38 off 21. Their partnership set an aggressive tone for the batting side as the middle order contributed with small scores as well. Towards the end, however, Aqeel Combined lost their way somewhat. Muneeb Wali and Sabih Siddiqui collectively knocked over 4 wickets to bring Quick Start back into the contest. They were able to restrict the batsmen for under 200 as Aqeel Combined managed 191.
Chasing what appeared to be a dominating target, Quick Start began the second innings well. Their openers proved to be equal to the task of chasing 192 as both scored glaring half centuries. Shoaib Ahmed's 54 from 20 balls especially lit up the stage for Quick Start. Much like the first innings though, the batting side got derailed in the middle as wickets started falling more consistently. At one stage, It seemed as though the target would fall just out of the batsmen's reach. However, the lower order kept chipping away at the mammoth target. Zaid Irfan's 16 from 10 deliveries proved to be very handy in the end as Quick Start made it over the line on the final ball.
The thrilling contest was won by Quick Start with just 1 wicket to spare.
