Raj XI batted first against Al Burhan and struggled in the first innings. The team continued to lose wickets cheaply with none of the players able to build on an innings. Middle order batsmen Ali Asghar and Hasnain tried to fight back with cameos of 21 and 23 respectively but lost their wicket before they could capitalize further. Hatim Tayyab also showed intent with his knock of 21 but the team were restricted to 139 in 20 overs. Al Burhan bowlers did well to keep the pressure on with each player chipping in. Ibrahim, Shabbir, Moeez and Turab took 2 wickets each.
In response, things could not have gone worse for Al Burhan as the chasing side completely imploded. They lost wickets constantly doing little to contribute to the score. Ibrahim Hasam was the top scorer for his side with 18 runs only as Al Burhan CC were bowled out for 85 runs in 18.3 overs. Raj XI bowlers were in form and on fire with Mansoor Hussain leading the attack, picking up 3 wickets and giving nothing away. Arif Hussaini also took 2 wickets.
Raj XI won by 54 runs.
