Shan XI batted first and were off to a great start. Fahad Ali was in tremendous form and he was supported by Talha Ghayas. Talha scored 17 off 14 balls with 3 fours and on the other hand, Fahad Ali smashed the bowlers around the park and hit 4 big sixes and 3 fours during a brilliant innings of 52 from just 31 balls. After the openers, Imran Zia propelled the score forward and scored 35 off 31 balls with 4 fours. The innings was on the right track for Shan XI and it needed a good end as well and that was provided by Iqbal and Noman. Noman in particular showed his worth and smashed the bowlers in the later stages of the innings, he scored 44 off just 17 balls with 6 humongous sixes and 1 four. Iqbal on the other hand, added 20 off 23 balls. In the end, Shan XI scored 191 in their 20 overs.
Lal Qila were chasing a big score and they needed a perfect start to come close of the target but that was not the case. Rameez Raja ripped the heart out of Lal Qila Cricket Club batting lineup as he picked up 4 top order wickets without much contribution from them to leave them in tatters. It was not what Lal Qila had planned for and they were in deep trouble. Bilal played a valiant knock of 56 from just 32 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes but still it was not enough for his side. The wickets kept falling, Shehbaz and Fahad also contributed with 2 wickets each. In the end, Lal Qila Cricket Club could only manage to score 163 in their 20 overs.
