In the concluding phase of the innings brilliant stroke play was displayed by Adnan Akhtar, who scored a half century in just 31 balls. Haidar Ali took 2 wickets while Abid Malik and Zahid Mansoor got 1 wicket apiece. Rangoonwala posted 166 for 4 at the end of 20 overs.
The chase by Kaaf Engineering did not commence the way they wanted. Furqan Lohar looked in good shape but lost his wicket just when he started to middle the ball. Abdul Rauf scored a run a ball knock of 21 runs, but he was unable to accelerate at the right time. The rest of the batting lineup failed to impress. Only one batsman after the openers was able to reach the double figures. It was Abid Malik who scored 24 runs off 17 balls. But 4 wickets for Sajjad, 2 wickets each for Fawad and Bilal, and one wicket for Zaheer Mansoor, helped Rangoonwala to bowl out Kaaf Engineering in the 17th over. Kaaf Engineering could score only 100 runs and Rangoonwala won the match by a wide margin of 66 runs.
