Taj Marquee Smashers came in to bat first & were off to a disastrous start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. Their batting never seemed to recover from this start as wickets kept on tumbling at quick successions as the bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Ibrahim Kasmani was the only notable batsman in the innings as he scored a fighting 36 off 37 deliveries. Rehan Nepal was absolutely unplayable with the ball as he tore apart the batting lineup single handedly picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Abdullah Imran who picked up 3 wickets as well. Taj Marquee Smashers were bowled out for 118 runs in 18.5 overs.
Burj Builders & Developers came in to chase this target with both their openers in fine form. The openers made full use of their form as they gave their team a flying start. Anas Ilyas & Rehan Nepal completely dominated the bowlers smashing the ball towards all parts of the ground. The duo put up a sublime partnership of 100+ runs comfortably taking their team over the line. Rehan Nepal played a fiery innings of 45 runs off just 27 deliveries where as Anas Ilyas complimented him well with the bat as he played a sublime knock of 50 runs off 38 deliveries. Kashif Tajani was the only bowler who picked up a wicket.
