Fidatto Cricket Club beat the Friends Cricket Club on 2nd November at the SKBZ Cricket Ground in a high scoring thriller.
Fidatto batted first and posted a collossal 206 on the board, coutesy an exceptional 3rd wicket partnership between Rehan and Faheem Shaikh. They smashed the ball to all parts of the park making individual scores 71 of 40 balls and 68 of 47 balls respectively. Despite Ali Sohail's come back with the ball to pick up 2 wickets in quick succession, Fidatto still managed to put up a massive 206.
The FCC got off to a poor start in their run chase as both openers were dismissed for insignificant totals. Amaan stabalized the innings with just over a run a ball 50 before getting run out. He was supported by Shehryar Qureshi who made 30 of 15 balls. However, Fidato managed to completely kick the FCC out of the game as Rehan Shaikh got his 3rd and most prized wicket of Shehryar Qureshi. Ali Sohail gave some hope with his 18 run cameo but the overwhelming total set by Fidato ensured the Friends Cricket Club fell well short.
