Ridan Warriors and Shaheen Cricket Club went against each other on 14th November at Gulberg Gymkhana Ground.
Batting first, Ridan Warriors posted a total of 177 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Anas Ahmed and Agha Chao opened the innings and scored 29 and 26 runs respectively. Hence, they gave a good start to the team. The one-down batter, Fayyaz Hussain added 24 runs to the score. In addition to this, Ubais Ullah Khan stood out who smashed 45 runs at the strike rate of 173.08. Asmat and Owais Bandhani bagged 2 wickets each.
Najeeb Ullah Khan and Ejaz Khan opened the innings for Shaheen Cricket Club, however, they were unable to contribute significantly. Both contributed a total of 17 runs only, collectively. The batters displayed a poor effort, as none of them was able to cross Haider Razzaq’s score of 28. The bowlers were ferocious, as Adeel Majeed, Sameer Ahmedani and Yaqoob Jan dismissed 3 batters each.
As a result, Ridan Warriors emerged as winners in the 11th over only. The team dominated by 106 runs.
