In the 4th Super Challengers Cup match between Rising Star CC and Blue Dragon at Asifabad Cricket Ground, Rising Star batted first and lost opener Muhammad Ali for a golden duck. Adnan (20) and Jameel (18) both got starts but couldn't capitalize. Aftab Siyani stepped up and smashed 6 fours and a six to score a much needed half century. His 56 off 46 balls was the only bright light in an innings filled with ducks as Rising Star could manage only 145 for 7 batting first.
In reply, Blue Dragons lost Nabeel and Saif for 1 and 0 respectively before Bilal (14) got together with Zain to restore some hope for the dragons. Zain in particular hit some crisp shots and reached 50 in 41 balls before perishing to the deadly spell of Muhammad Ali. Ali picked up three crucial wickets for only 23 runs, a spell that left too much to do for the lower order of the Dragons as they fell short considerably losing the match by 31 runs.
