Mavericks came in to bat first. Despite loosing an early wicket they were off to a decent start as their opener Bilal Aslam played a fiery innings of 36 runs off 15 deliveries & Younus Tai managed to score 28. Saad Asif & Usman Ashraf came in next & the duo kept the momentum towards their side scoring 44 & 37 runs respectively. The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much. Muhammad Kashif, Faizan Khan & Mati Ur Rehman picked up a couple of wickets each. Mavericks scored 182/8.
Rising Stars came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start with both their openers in fine form. Arsalan Farooq scored a quick fire 36 off just 19 balls before being dismissed. The bowlers then picked up 2 wickets in quick succession. Sabih Siddiqui came in & had a huge partnership with Mati Ur Rehman. The duo single handedly took their team over the line as Mati Ur Rehman played a sublime knock of 64 runs & Sabih Siddiqui scored a quick fire 50 off 30 deliveries. Abdul Rehman M Rafiq was the only bowler who picked up 3 wickets but it was too little too late.
