Rising Stars, who chose to bat first, kicked off their innings with a bang as their openers, Basit Ullah and Asif H Kidwai, provided a strong foundation. Basit Ullah, in particular, was in exceptional form, scoring a blistering 59 runs from just 28 deliveries. Asif H Kidwai contributed 15 runs off 20 balls, while Mati Ur Rehman added 21 runs off 18. Arsalan Farooq played a pivotal role with an unbeaten 27 off 18 deliveries. However, the latter part of the Rising Stars’ batting lineup faced difficulties, and wickets fell. Atif Ali was the standout bowler for TBH Gladiators, claiming three important wickets. Despite the late wobbles, Rising Stars managed to post a competitive total of 166/7.
In response, TBH Gladiators were faced with the task of chasing down the target but encountered early hurdles, losing four wickets. NAVEED KHAN and Abdur Raheem provided some resistance with scores of 26 and 28 runs, respectively. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled against the Rising Stars’ bowlers. Hamza Qureshi was the star performer with the ball, taking three vital wickets, while Jahanzaib Ali and Ahmed Altaf chipped in with two wickets each.
