Royal CC continued their winning streak against Soni Associates in the Dollar East Premier League on 15-11-2015 at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
Soni Associates were put in to bat first and put on display a fantastic third wicket partnership between Ahmed Hussain and Ali Iqbal. They scored 21 and 55 respectively hitting 6 boundaries and 3 sixes between them. The rest of the batsmen failed to contribute any major scores and Soni stumbled to 112 before getting all out. Amjad Manzoor picked up 3 wickets while Akram Shoaib and Taha Mamsa picked up 2 wickets each for the Royals.
Royal CC finished the contest with 7 wickets to spare and more than 3 overs remaining. All the batsmen contributed with cameos. Zakir Malik scored 19 of 9 at an outstanding strike rate while Ejaz Shah made a solid 21. Umer Imtiaz and Aqib Rizvi took the Royals home scoring 38 and 25 respectively, putting them in firm control of the league.
