Royal Stars destroyed Rising Eleven this past Saturday at Asifabad Ground. Batting first, Stars opener Umair Nasir was in form and on fire with an impressive 58 runs. Khizar Azam also chipped in with 15 but the team lost a few quick wickets before Wasif's blistering 57 off 36 balls including 4 sixes boosted Royal Stars to a very competitive 168 for 8 in 20 overs. Sufiyan Bhojani and Muhammad Adnan took 2 wickets each to try and pull back the opposition.
In response, Rising Eleven completely collapsed in the chase. With Salman Ayub's 20 being the highest run scorer for his side, 8 of the batsmen were dismissed in single digits as Rising Eleven were put of their misery for just 70 runs in 14.5 overs. Waleed Azim and Hasan Tariq were relentless, taking 3 wickets each in their spells.
