Royal Stars batted first against NED Strikers with Muqarrab and Shaheer Azim standing out for their side. NED bowlers were ineffective against the opposition, unable to pick wickets when required.
The chasing side had their work cut out for them. With scoreboard pressure on, their top order crumbled with the exception of opener Shahid's 50 and Adil's late 66 but it simply wasn't enough. The team needed a collective effort to get over the line and unfortunately a comedy of errors did not help the situation. 4 run outs completely took the game away from the Strikers as Royal Stars carried their momentum forward in the second innings.
