Royal Stars batted first against Rising Eleven at a solid batting track at Al Mansoora ground. Umair Nisar was in fine form as he hit a blistering 62 off just 35 balls at a strike rate of 177%. However, the subsequent batsmen could not maintain the momentum and only Yasir contributed 27 while the others threw away their wickets as the batting side ended at 163 for 8 in 20 overs. For Rising Eleven, Muhammad Nawaz with 3 wickets was the highest wicket taker while M Ahad got 2 wickets and Zain, Umar and Owais picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Owais Rauf with 21 and M Nawaz with 35 got Rising Eleven off to a good start but Shaheez Azim's scintillating 4 wickets for a mere 16 runs ripped through the middle and lower order . Hammad Masood and Waleed Tariq assisted him with 2 wickets each while Rab Nawaz picked up a wicket as Rising Eleven collapsed to 108 all out after a good start.
