Royal Strikers emerge victorious against Makkah CC despite Khansha’s century

Royal Strikers came in to bat first. They got off to a flying start as they were scoring runs freely in the powerplay. The top Order set a platform for the later batsmen to come & launched meanwhile Amin Suriya played a fiery innings of 42 runs off just 21 balls. Abdul Rehman Bawani came in & continued the from where Amin Suriya keft. He also played an explosive innings of 61 runs but was unable to find support from the other end. Royal Strikers scored 191 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs. Abdullah Alam & Khansha picked up a couple of wickets.

Makkah CC came in to chase this daunting target of 192 runs & got off the blocks pretty quickly courtesy brilliant hitting from Khansha. His partner Abdullah Alam played second fiddle to him but departed early. Adil Tanoli came in & struggled to find the boundary often putting the pressure on Khansha. Khansha played an absolute batting masterclass hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground. He played a sublime knock of 113 runs off just 66 balls but was unable to get his team over the line as his partner struggled to find his groove & scored 42 runs off 39 balls. Despite a brilliant innings from Khansha Makkah CC managed to score 186 runs for the loss of just 1 wicket in their 20 overs. Sadiq Suriya was the only bowler to take a wicket.
