Dirty Dozen batted first against Super Daddy CC at the Legends Cup in a match that had all the makings of a great t20 game. Opener Abid Aslam fell cheaply for just 4 runs but Taimoor Butt and Umar Khan picked right up scoring 45 and 50 respectively. Saad Khamisani also chipped in an important 23 alongside Hasan's 27 that boosted Dirty Dozen to an impressive 171 for 7 in 20 overs. Daddies bowlers were loose, unable to keep the pressure on, giving away too much too easily. Taimoor however did pick up 2 wickets for his side.
The second half turned the game on it's head. After Daddies star openers Yasser Mufti and Adnan Amjad were dismissed cheaply, skipper Shahram Rasool and Omer Shahid tried to salvage their side with 28 and 30. Dirty Dozen bowlers however kept at it on the other end with Saad Khamisani playing the game of his life! His 5 for 24 left the chasing side running for cover but it wasn't over just yet. Shehryar Qadir and Rehan Shaikh fought back with cameos that edged the Daddies closer to the target. Mustafa Malik also took 2 wickets but eventually it was Adeel Mansha's responsible 24 not out that got their side over the line.
Super Daddy clinch victory by 1 wicket.
