Raj XI batted first against Bavanx and lost their top order cheaply. Ali Asghar, Mufaddal and Adnan then lead the recovery with scores of 27, 31 and 22 runs respectively to try and save their side. Hasnain also chipped in with 18 to boost Raj XI to 143 for 6 in 20 overs. Bavanx bowlers did well to restrict the opposition, picking up wickets in regular intervals to stop the flow of runs. Murtaza Ghodra and Baqir Ali picked up 2 wickets each in their spell.
In response, Bavanx were outdone by a fantastic display of bowling by Saifuddin Ibrahim who picked up 4 wickets in his spell to rattle the opposition. Arif, Mansoor and Ali also took 2 wickets each to bowl out Bavanx CC for just 109 runs in 18.4 overs. Mustafa Hasan was the only batsmen who tried to chase down the target with a fighting 38 runs but the rest of his team collapsed in quick succession.
Raj XI won by 34 runs.
