Saima Group Falcons went against Karachi Gladiators on 29th November at Asghar Ali Shah Ground.
Batting first, Saima Group Falcons posted a huge total of 224 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. Daniyal Liaquat and Muhammad Nafay opened the innings and were stunning, as they smashed 82 and 74 runs respectively. Daniyal played his innings at a strike rate of 190.7, hitting 11 fours and 3 sixes. While Nafay smashed 3 fours and 5 sixes. Zarak Khan stood out with the ball, bagging 2 wickets.
Ahmed Hussain and Najeeb Lali opened the innings for Gladiators. Ahmed scored a half century at a strike rate of 139.02. However, he lost his wicket to Hammad Sheikhani on 57 runs. Najeeb added 35 runs to the score. The bowlers were ferocious, as Ejaz Shah bagged 3 wickets. Hammad Sheikhani shone with a 5 wicket haul at an economy rate of 5.50.
As a result, the bowlers easily defended their mammoth total. Hence, Saima Group Falcons emerged winners in the 20th over by 82 runs.
