Saima Group Falcons went against Auto Mall on 6th Decided at Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium
Saima Group started of the innings with a decent opening partnership of 30+ runs inning. The middle order batters Farhan, Ejaz and Irtiza provided stability to the innings by making significant contributions. In this way the team reached a total of 145 runs at a tricky pitch. Nadir Shah took 3 wickets from Auto Mall’s part. Gulzar and Asad took 1 wicket each.
Auto Mall started of their chase in a shaky manner as one of their opener got out for a duck; however, the Arif scored 17 runs. While the other batters failed to contribute significantly, Faizan scored an important 48 odd runs innings. However, due to a lack of concentrated effort by Auto Mall remained short of the target by 19 runs. Kamran Wali took 3 wickets along with 2 wickets of Ejaz Shah.
As a result, Auto Mall faced defeat in the 20th over by 19 runs.
