Shan Foods came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. They lost 2 wickets early on but still managed to score at a healthy rate. Syed Sheraz Ali & Abu Bakar put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. Syed Sheraz Ali scores 25 runs off 18 deliveries where as Abu Bakar scored a brisk 37 off 31 deliveries. The bowlers managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets & were looking to make their way back into the match. The momentum was stopped by Adeel Abid Shamsi & Furqan Majeed who put up a partnership of 50+ runs putting their team in a fighting position. Adeel Abid Shamsi played a sublime knock of 51 runs off just 32 deliveries where as Furqan Majeed played a cameo of 21 runs off 17 deliveries. Umair ali managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Shan Foods posted a total of 150 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Salam Takaful Pakistan Limited came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Rehan Tanoli & Rameez Mehboob were scoring freely. Rehan Tanoli played the role of the aggressor in this partnership as he was timing the ball beautifully. Rehan Tanoli played a fiery innings of 47 runs off just 25 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback & started to pick up wickets at regular intervals. Rameez Mehboob stood tall from the other end & kept the score board moving at a good rate, not allowing the pressure to mount on his team. Shahroz Haider came in towards the back end of the innings & scored 10 runs off 11 deliveries where as Rameez Mehboob played a solid knock of 43 runs off 38 deliveries ensuring his side the victory. Waqas Khan was dangerous with the ball as he ripped apart the middle order picking up 4 wickets but he was unable to find support from the other end.
