Salam Takaful Pakistan Limited came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Rehan Tanoli & Dawood Saeed put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. Ther duo was striking the ball cleanly & the bowlers had no answer to such power hitting. Rehan Tanoli departed after playing a cameo of 32 runs off 14 deliveries. Dawood Saeed confined his onslaught from the other end. The bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals from the other end but that unfazed Dawood Saeed as he kept on blasting the bowlers towards all parts of the ground. He played a marathon knock of 106 runs off just 62 deliveries. Khalid Ali Khan managed to pickup a couple of wickets.
NBPIANS came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets early on they were scoring at a high rate. Mohammad Ahsan Khan & Raheel Hussain took the attack towards the bowlers giving their team the perfect start to the run chase. Mohammad Ahsan Khan took the attack to the bowlers striking the ball towards all parts of the ground. Raheel Hussain kept the score board ticking as he scored 22 runs off 21 deliveries. Farhan Rafique came in & played with the same intent. He too kept rotating the strike where as Mohammad Ahsan Khan continued to muscle the ball keeping his side right on track. Farhan Rafique departed after scoring 24 runs off 26 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals from the other end. Mohammad Ahsan Khan was unstoppable as he continued to play the same way through out the innings but was lacking support from the other end. He played a masterful knock of 108 runs off just 55 deliveries but agonizingly fell short of the target. Rehan Tanoli managed to pickup a couple of wickets.
