Samba Bank were looking terrific with their opening pair, Faraz and Zafar scoring big runs at the start of the innings. Faraz scored a brilliant 34 runs, while Zafar scored 33 runs. Before things could propel any further, it was Javed who took the the opening pair down. Mujtaba however stepped in to take care of the scoreboard with a majestic 86 runs off 48 balls, while hitting 11 boundaries and 3 massive sixes. Imran Bashir made a decent contribution with his knock of 11 runs, followed by Umair who finished the innings by scoring 13 runs. Shahnawaz bowler Javed fought back, taking 3 key wickets, followed by Nasir who also took 2. Samba Bank set a target of 211 runs in 20 overs.
Shahnawaz CC were off to an impressive start when Bilal scored 26 runs and Zafar scored 38 runs. It was smooth sailing for the chasing side before Hashim struck with the ball, picking up 3 wickets. Baseer made a huge impact on the game with his knock of 68 runs but was dismissed by Imran Bashir who got 2 wickets to his name. The rest of the batting order failed tremendously to keep their wickets intact and score runs effectively and were restricted to a total of 175 runs in 20 overs.
