SBC Green put on a dominant performance against SBC Blue this week, beating them by eight wickets at the TMC Ground.
SBC Blue came in with guns blazing as opener Mairaj Ahmed made 71 from 60. The rest of the batting order however, fell quickly and scored barely any runs. With 19 extra runs they managed to make 126 in 20 overs. Mumtaz Ahmed Qureshi and Zakir Meosh took two wickets each while Ashar Qureshi took three.
Through a series of well played knocks, SBC Green easily chased the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of two wickets. Muhammad Fareed made 33 from 33, Riaz Ahmed 21 from 21, Mumtaz Ahmed Qureshi made 43 from 38 not out and Awais Siddique made 24 from 12 not out.
