Secure Networks beat the Pak Qatar Family Takaful by an astounding six wickets at the CAA Ground last week.
Pak Qatar batted first and after a rocky start seemed to find their footing as Ashar Ali made 20 from 16 and Shayan Rasheed made 57 from 38. With 14 extra runs, they were able to make 145 in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Umer Khan, Rana Adresh and Asad Effendi took two wickets each while Irfan Niazi and Bilal Munir took one each.
Secure Networks were two wickets down with just five runs scored but they bounced back spectacularly with Rana Adresh making 32 from 22 and Hamza Siddiq making 39 from 45 followed by 49 from 30 by Bilal Munir. They chased the target in 19.1 overs. Atif Mumtaz, Sohail Ashraf, Iftikhar Ali and Ahsan Habib took one wicket each.
