Secure Networks beat Agha Khan University Faculty and Staff by five wickets at the AKG University Ground last week.
AKU Faculty and Staff was only able to make 70 runs before being all out in less than 16 overs. Sunil Mantoo made 14 from 22, Amin Mumtaz Ali made 23 from 24 and Dr Jahangir Khan made 16 from 15. Bilal Munir was devastating with his three wickets while Syed Ali Nasim and Asad Affendi took two wickets each. Umer Khan and Umer Lohya took one each.
Despite the relatively small target, Secure Networks still had a hard time chasing it with Javed Khan's 21 from 16 being the most impressive performance in this innings as the rest of the batsmen failed to score in the double digits. Ghey somehow managed to make 71 in 11.4 overs for the loss of five wickets. Pyar Ali and Karim Khan took two wickets each while Izhar Ali took one.
