Al Haj FAW CC batted first against Allied Logistics at the FAW FOAP tournament and really struggled in the match. With the exception of Rana Naeem's 27, the team imploded, losing wickets too frequently to post runs on the board. Logistics bowlers did well to strike when needed with Sami Ullah being most effective in his spell of 3 wickets. Mohsin Khan kept things going with his 2 wickets while Rashid Ahmed took 1. Ducks, run outs and chaos for Al Haj FAW CC who eventually ended at 71 for 7 in 8 overs.
In response, Allied Logistics also struggled with the bat, losing their top over cheaply. The only relief then came from Intekhab and Sami Ullah (Who seemed to be in prime form) with knocks of 14 and 20 respectively. With a low total to chase, a few runs by the remaining batsmen helped Allied Logistics crawl over the line with a ball to spare. Al Haj FAW bowlers did well to keep the pressure on with Waqar Shinwari taking 2 wickets for an unbelievable 5 runs only.
