Sequare XI outshun Moin Khan and his team on their home ground as they beat them by 7 runs in a fascinating contest.
Sequare batted first and set a massive total of 221 before getting all out. The openers got off to a relatively decent start and Sherry Shah continued to build on it coming it in at number 3. He scored 37 of 21 balls before Osama came in and blew the spectators away with a stunning innings of 99 of just 38 balls. His sensational knock included 8 fours and 9 maximums to completely obliterate the opposition.
The Moin Khan XI responded bravely, as the top order came out with all guns blazing. Ameer scored 21 of 9 balls while Mohib scored 32. The centurion in the last match, Anus, contributed 20 of 14 balls before the legendary Pakistan wicket keeper Moin Khan came in to bat. Him and Fahad put up an entertaining partnership which seemed like it would take the match away from a despondent Sequare XI, before Najam dismessed Moin Khan for 42. Fahad continued the rampage, but soon fell victim to Tariq, to end a thrilling knock of 55. His dismissal marked the end of all hope for Moin Khan XI, who despite putting up a valiant fight could not emerge victorious, falling short by just a handful of runs.
