Sequare XI took on Shaan Foods in a thrilling encounter at the Landhi Gymkhana on 7-11-2015.
Sequare batted first and the usual batting duo of Sherry Shah and Khurram Amin was seen thriving again. Khurram opened the innings to set the ball rolling with his fierce 58 of just 45 balls while Sherry made 48 of 27 including 3 fours and 3 maximums. Along with some help from the lower order, Sequare managed to post 170 on the board in their 20 overs. Adeel picked up 3 wickets for Shaan Foods while Akhther sent 2 Sequare batsmen back to the pavillion.
Shaan Foods got off to the worst possible start as Raheel bowled opener Khurram for a duck and Naved was run out for just 7. Abu Bakar and Adnan gave Shaan Foods some hope scoring 29 of 13 and 50 of 33 respectively. Adeel started where he left off with the ball, scoring a solid 40 of just 34 balls. However, his efforts went in vain as Sequare managed to sneak a 16 run victory.
