Shadaab Sports took on MAA Cricket Club at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium in the Dollar East Premier League on 13-11-2015.
Batting first, Shaddab posted a solid 174 at the loss of 5 wickets on the board. Opener Osama Naeem set the ball rolling as he scored a half century of just 35 balls. The middle order chipped in with small contribution before the lower order displayed some brilliant hitting to take Shadaab on a late charge. Omar Rajkot made 35 of 20 balls and Hassan Qazi scored 10 of just 4 balls. Abdul Wali was the stand out bowler for MAA picking up 3 wickets at the expense of just 23 runs.
MAA got off to a good start in their run chase with opener Mirza Shoaib hitting 3 boundaries and a six in his flashy 38 of just 20 balls. Despite losing Bilal Omer early on, Mirza Sajjad and SaifUllah held the innings togethher with a decent partnership, scoring cameos of 20's each. However, Asim Tariq and Talha Faheem brought Shadaab back in the game as they picked up wickets in quick succession to dent MAA's hopes. Hunain Usman and Ali Batya then tried to salvage something for MAA but were both dismissed by Zeeshan Nasir as Maa got all out for 164.
