The Dollar East Premier League continued on 7-11-2015 as Shadab Sports took on Soni Associates at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
Shadab batted first posting 172 on the board with Mohammad Daniyal and Talha Faheem starring, scoring 73 and 57 respectively. They dominated the middle overs of the game, smashing the ball to all parts of the ground to take Shadab to a very defendable 172 in their 20 overs. The Soni Associate bowlers divided the wickets equally between them as Sadiq Khan, Ashraf Hussain, Musharraf Khan and Azeem picked up a wicket each.
In response, Soni Associates managed 136 before getting all out. Ahmed Hussain made 25 of 15 balls while Abdul Qadir made 29 at over a run a ball. The Soni batsmen got off to good starts but failed to capitalize as no batsmen managed to build on the start and play the match winning innings that was required. Zeeshan Nasir and Abrar were mainly responsible for dismantling the Soni batting line up, picking up 3 and 4 wickets respectively to ensure Shadab grabs its first win of the Dollar East Premier League.
