Shadab Sports and IB Pharma went against each other on 17th October at Young Fighters Ground.
Osama Naeem and Wasif Mahmood Mustafa opened the innings for Shadab Sports. Both gave a good start to the team, as Osama scored 22 off 18 while Wasif smashed 44 runs at a strike rate of 133.33. Talha Faheem, the one-down batter, scored 26 off 18. Asad Abbasi was successful in sending 3 of the top- and middle-order order batters back to the dug out. In addition to this, Ahmed Iqbal bagged 2 wickets. However, the collective effort of the batters shone and they were unstoppable. Daniyal Asif played a phenomenal knock of 62 off 36. His innings included 7 fours and 2 sixes. Rehan Rashid played a cameo of 21 at a strike rate of 150. Hence, Shadab posted a total of 184 runs.
Farhan Rafiq and Ebad Ur Rehman opened the innings for IB Pharma, however, both lost wickets on fewer runs of 12 and 13 respectively. The bowlers continues building pressure, as the wickets fell like dominoes. Farhan Nasir, Osama Naeem, Umer Farooq and Shahzaib Ahmed dismissed 2 batters each. None of the batters were able to stand on the crease for a long time therefore, unable to make a significant contribution.
As a result of the ferocious bowling from Shadab, IB Pharma was bowled all out in the 19th over on 79 runs only. Hence, Shadab outrightly dominated by a 105-run margin.
