Najeeb Ullah and Ismail Shah opened the inning for Air Express. Najeeb scored 31 runs, while Ismail lost his wicket on 18 runs. Mohammad Arsalan Farzand was stunning with his batting effort, as he scored a half-century off 39 balls and remained not out. Jaseem Khan’s innings also played a crucial role, as he added 34 runs to the score a strike rate of 188.89. None of the other batters were able to make a significant impact. Shahzaib Ahmed and Kahaf Patel bagged 2 wickets each. While Umer Farooq and Farhan Nisar dismissed a batter each. Hence, Air Express posted a target of 155 runs.
Osama Naeem and Wasif Mahmood Mustafa opened the innings for Shadab Sports to chase. Osama lost his wicket on a low score of 6 runs only. However, Wasif helped stabilise the innings, as he smashed 74 off 60 balls. His innings included 5 fours and 2 sixes. Akhtar Mohammad Lala dominated in the middle over, as he dismissed Rehan Rashid, the one-down batter, and M Waqas. Farhan Nasir came to the crease with confidence, successfully scoring 31 off 19. The cameo helped the team in getting closer to the score.
