Al Baraka came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Azhar Shah & Syed Daniyal put up a partnership of 50+ runs bringing their team back on track after a shaky start. Azhar Shah played a solid knock of 40 runs off 31 deliveries. Syed Daniyal managed to score 38 off 31. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers made their way back into the game. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Maqsood Ahmed was absolutely unplayable with the ball. He tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Ali Abrar who picked up a couple of wickets. Al Baraka posted a total of 144 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Shan Foods came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Muhammad Tehseen & Adeel Abid Shamsi put up a solid partnership at the top giving their team the perfect start. Muhammad Tehseen played a solid knock of 44 runs where as Adeel Abid Shamsi scored 27 off 20. The bowlers the managed to pickup a couple of wickets making a comeback but the momentum was stopped by Syed Saqlain Sajid & Furqan Majeed who put up a crucial partnership at the death settling the nerves. Syed Saqlain Sajid scored 14 off 17 where as Furqan Majeed scored 15 off 11 taking their team over the line. Tauqeer Rafiq Bajwa & Azhar Shah managed to pickup a couple of wickets each but it was too little too late.
